1、 Classification

1. Silent air compressor

The material of the machine itself does not contain oily substances, and there is no need to add any lubricating oil during operation, which greatly improves the quality of the discharged air and ensures the safety of the equipment that users need. Unlike oil compressors, which contain a large amount of oil molecules in the discharged gas, they can cause varying degrees of corrosion to the equipment that users need. Therefore, choosing a silent oil-free air compressor is necessary to ensure air quality.

2. Medical standard silent oil-free air compressor

It refers to the type of air compressor suitable for use in medical environments and hygiene conditions, which requires precision, stronger reliability, environmental protection and tranquility, fresh and clean compressed air, and the output gas can directly contact the human body. Medical air compressors with a displacement of less than 1m3min are mostly micro screw reciprocating air compressors, also known as silent oil-free air compressors, and also known as micro screw swing air compressors abroad.

Medical air compressors must be controlled within 60 decibels. Generally, the sound of household air conditioning compressors (around 55 decibels) should not be uncomfortable for medical staff working in such an environment. Given that hospitals require a relatively quiet environment, air compressors with noise levels higher than 60 decibels cannot be used in hospitals.

2、 Notes on selection

1. Exhaust pressure

The higher the discharge pressure of the compressor, the more energy it consumes. The sum of the usage pressure, pipeline resistance loss, and pressure drop of supporting equipment is set as the lower limit of the rated exhaust pressure for selecting a screw air compressor. Generally, the diameter of the gas transmission pipeline should be selected larger to reduce resistance loss and achieve the goal of reducing energy consumption during long-term operation. The higher the discharge pressure of the compressor, the more energy it consumes. So don't choose compressors with excessively high exhaust pressure

2. Exhaust volume

Calculate the actual total gas consumption multiplied by 1, 1-1, and 2 coefficients, and use them as the model for selecting the exhaust volume. If the selection is too low, it cannot meet the specified value of the gas equipment, and if the selection is too large, it will result in high energy consumption during load reduction and uneconomical operation during load reduction.

3. Compressed air quality

According to the requirements of industry gas equipment for compressor gas, suitable selection of screw air compressors and supporting equipment should be made. The following points need to be considered:

1) To reduce the oil content in compressed gas, an oil purifier can be used. If the treatment index is high, multi-stage treatment can be selected.

2) To reduce the water content in compressed gas, water removal equipment can be used in conjunction.

3、 Precautions for daily use of silent and oil-free air compressors:

1. When the silent oil-free air compressor is shut down due to power failure, in order to prevent the compressor from starting under pressure, the power off handle of the pressure switch should be pulled to exhaust the air in the pipeline before restarting the silent oil-free air compressor.

2. Users must install a protective grounding wire for the silent and oil-free air compressor to ensure good contact between all metal casings of the silent and oil-free air compressor and the ground. The grounding resistance should comply with national standards.

3. When serious air leakage, abnormal noise, or odor is found in the silent oil-free air compressor, it should be stopped immediately. The cause should be identified, the fault should be eliminated, and normal operation can only be resumed.
